CALIFORNICATION (not what I'm doing but the show)

I'm a little upset with the creators of this show.

They've stolen everything about my life and made a ton creating this show about my life and I haven't seen

What's your favorite scene?

I'd have to say mine is where Runkel temporarily splits with the Mrs. & looks to Hank for girl guidance. Fast forward and they've brought a nice young lady home but Hank very vaguely remembers the girl from a previous interlude yet he can't remember why he remembers her or what it was she did to him.

Hank is tired, so he goes to bed, leaving Runkel & the young lady in the living room. It's not happenin'. Runkel pleads with Hank for some help getting the gal in the mood. Hank complies and they all start getting friendly in the bedroom.

R-Rated from here. Reminds me of the over-the-top push-the-envelope style of Nip/Tuck. I love it.

I just started watching this show about two months ago and like it. Alot of drugs and sex, my kinda show.

this season.....so far so GOOD.

OMG, Sunday's episode was off the hook.

I'm not sold on this season. It's going in a much darker direction than the previous two. Hank at least seems to mean well, and realizes when he hurts people, but his relationship with Becca is looking pretty one-note so far this season. They also pissed me off last week with him pushing the other writer off a 10-year wagon and basically ignoring it aside from swooping in and taking the guy's job. He's portraying the whole professor thing a bit too off the cuff, imo.

I have not found the whole bit with Charlie and Marcy funny at all this season. The rape thing was very disturbing, and they've taken that relationship down a road that is way too dark for this series. His a$$ should be in jail after pulling that sh*t.

I agree with you on the Becca thing...did I miss something? Why's she so pi$$ed at him? I could have missed something.

The other stuff you mentioned, while disturbing, is one of the reasons I watch the show, to see what they'll do next, much in the way that I was addicted to Nip/Tuck in the first couple of seasons. Mangina, seriously???

I thought Runkle jumping on the date's back as he's mid-faker@pe-coitus with Runkle's ex was floor-rolling funny. I feel pretty sorry for Runkle.

And Kathleen Turner....man, what a great scene!!! Uncomfortable? Hell yes, but hysterical!

I don't take the show too seriously....you can't....and while the first episode this season didn't have quite the draw as last seasons' episodes...this last episode I thought was great. Just my though!

Can't wait 'til Sunday!

She definitely has some spectacular assets, and we certainly got a very good view of them. Poor Hank, getting hit on by the Dean's wife and 'helping out' his TA all at once.

I just started watching Californication last week and finished up Season 1 in a 24 hour period (Yeah, I'm pathetic. The wife was gone for the weekend). I have Season 2 on my Netflix queue. Can't wait, Duchovny is awesome in this.
