I am sure that many of you, like me, have trouble saving money because it goes to cigars each day, week, or month! I need help to stay strong and save money for presents for my loved ones this holiday season! I have not made a cigar purchase in three days. I hope I can stay strong for six more weeks!!! Who will lend their support or stand with me???

I am with you MOBD. Right after I buy a few more boxes. OK, not really. I'm saving as well. The kids are getting a Wii. My Partagas 8-9-8's will have to wait until that is bought. |

Remember your 12 step program. Keep you credit card 12 steps away so you have at least 3 seconds to talk yourself out of hitting "submit order"!

I need to do the same as you. But what about when we walk into B&M's? Do trades count? PIF's? With all of these there are cost's too. Ship twenty times and you're looking at an average of $100 or so. Let us ponder these questions and make an attack plan.(Or a defense plan actually.)

I realize you're right, and stand behind you all the way. I haven't placed an order in 24 hours now. I'll refrain from any more senseless spending on myself. I need to save for a present for the wife. I'll be strong! Now, if I can just figure out which cigars a non-smoker like herself might like as an introduction to this fine hobby............ |

I'm there with you, I'm done buying, and for a while. I have ENTIRELY way too many cigars, so many that I'm at the point of worrying that some of my stuff will age too long. Last date I bought a cigar (happened to be a box) 10/3/09 - box of La Herencia Cubana Robusto from CBID for stupid cheap. Thats it, I'm done, and totally tired of chasing the next great cigar.... for at least a few............. months.
