Re: Hail To The Redskins!!
By the second quarter I was hoping the Skins lost...they need a kick in the ass in the worst way. Hopefully losing miserably to the Lions does the trick...they need a major overhaul. On paper, the schedule isn't that bad.... on paper we look like we have a decent team....
I guess it was written on toilet paper....

Yeah, the Redskins are not looking good at all this year... Hopefully, this loss will give them a good kick in the arss to get them motivated...

There's no doubt this team has talent, and a defense that is still top notch (despite giving up 19 to the Lions.) I'm even willing to give Zorn a little more time. The thing I hate about us--and am most frustrated about--is that we don't have much control over the ownership & front office. Dan Snyder is killing this franchise.

I guess in the back of my mind, I knew this. This confirms it though.

Re: Hail To The Redskins!!
Honestly, I don't know what else to expect from a team whose players and coaches are constantly sabotaged by the ownership. Dan Snyder is the Al Davis of the east coast. Until he hires a real GM and let HIM build a real team, nothing will change.
Maybe I should follow the example of that guy who wrote letters to the front office of all 32 NFL teams asking why he should root for them.

Holy crap Patrick!!!
What the heck has happened to this team? Where did the offense go this year? Truly sad, even for a Giants fan.

Re: Hail To The Redskins!!
I like Jim Zorn. I was in Seattle when he was their starting QB and always enjoyed watching him play. I thought he did a serviceable job as the QB coach for Seattle.
All that being said, I just don't think Zorn was ready to be a head coach in the NFL. I think he would have been a good offensive coordinator - which is what he was originally hired to be - and that he would have gained valuable knowledge and experience as an offensive coordinator. But he was just not ready to be a head coach and this may cost him any opportunity down the line to be a head coach with another team.
