Hole in One

After twenty or so years of playing golf I finally got a hole in one yesterday. It was on the 143 yard hole number three at St Johnsbury Country Club. I tried to buy drinks for my playing partners afterward but the waitress comped them to us. Sweet all around.

Come close a 1/2 dozen times, but no lightning yet.

Very nice. Make sure you register your feat at http://www.usgolfregister.org/press.asp. Also, if you contact the company of the brand of golf ball you used, they may give you something. Calloway give me an award plaque with the details of the hole in one. CONGRATS, tell us the details... what club did you use and how long was the shot?

Closest yet.

Congrats!

Quite a few years ago, my stepfather and I each had one (the one and only for each of us), on the same hole, about two weeks apart. Very cool feeling.

Very nice. Never had a hole in one, but did hit a second shot in the hole from about 180 yards on the first hole once. Par four hole.
