The passing of another good friend
On Monday I lost another close and personal friend.
MSgt. "Skip" Kartankowitz, My close and respected friend went to Vahalla after suffering a stroke. Skip was a Retired USAF Master Sgt., He served during Vietnam as a Combat Rescue Crewman, ... He was one of those brave souls who went down a line in a hot zone to rescue downed air crews. He was a brave Man, A good Man, and a Man I'm proud to have called a very dear friend. Go in peace with the warrior God's Skip. This is now twice in two years that people very close to me have gone to sit with the God's. This is getting tough. Raise a glass tonight for Skip, and another for Ron, 101st Airborne Recon. My best of Brothers.
