Default Re: Vinotemp help

I must disagree with some of what is said here. I am no entomologist, but I have first-hand experience of beetles hatching at far under 80 degrees. I'm talking about London in autumn and spring.

We don't have heaters running and the indoor temperature would maybe on occasion reach 70F to a max of 72F. I had beetles on two separate occasions over a year apart; neither was from new stock. One box I had possessed for over two years with no signs of beetles.

I own two wine coolerdors now and I keep the temp below 65F. Just my two cents, your mileage may vary etc etc. In my experience anything over 70F or perhaps in that ballpark, is asking for trouble.
