Ever had CruzCampo?
For our wedding anniversary the wife and I hopped a plane and headed to Spain. We rented a car and drove around with no hotel reservations or really any idea of where to go (did this all around Europe, it's fun). So we went to Madrid, Toledo, Erjia (spelled that wrong), and some other places I can't remember right now. Anywho, we drank a bunch of CruzCampo and some Alihambra (spelled that wrong too) while we were there....Back in the states I could go to the local Jungle Jims and pick up the Jamon we grew to love while over there but can't get CruzCampo! can't find it anywhere! It is a great Spanish beer I thought...ever had it?

Re: Ever had CruzCampo?
Sorry to resurrect this, but the name Cruzcampo caught my attention when I was searching through this forum. I went to Spain last summer, and the gnarly funk of Cruzcampo in my mouth still haunts my dreams. It's...horrible. Alhambra and San Miguel are pretty good, but Cruzcampo must be a local thing, because there were ads for it everywhere (EVERYwhere), but I've never heard of anyone not Spanish until now who liked it, and I was there with about 20 people. Even though you could get it out of vending machines almost everywhere, it wasn't worth the pain at almost any cost, except when it was 105* and 90% humidity and it was cold and available.
