Re: 5 guys
Have to admit they opened one around us, walked in, saw the prices and walked out.
Appeared very pricey for a burger joint. Are they worth the prices? Chas |

Re: 5 guys
Dont forget the excessive portions hand cut fries.
We have one about 8 miles away that is a lunch staple. They are building one about a mile away. We probably will keep going to the old one.. cigars at lunch.

They just opened one by me also. I have been there 2 times. Both were take out and it was very good IMO. Im a big guy and one burger and order of fries was plenty for me. Dont forget all of the burgers have 2 patties of meat inless you get the small or whatever they call it. It didn't seem that badly priced for a double burger.

I can't believe it took 4 posts for someone to mention the fries, they really are amazing.

There are a bunch of them around us and we really like the burgers and fries. You get the burger with the toppings you like and malt vinegar for the fries. I'm looking forward to my California trip in May for the In-N-Out burger and fries.

Re: 5 guys
tw3nty introduced me to 5 Guys when I was visiting him late last year. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. Come to find out, there is one about 20 min from my house. My favorite is the bacon-cheese dog. And the fries, of course!

Jake, never had 5 guys, but for the best burgers in the greater Hartford area try "plan B" Awesome burgers, hot waitstaff, and cool decor. Try the bluecheese burger... topped with bluecheese, carmalized onions, and burbon sauce
I think they have either 3 or 4 locations now... Ive only been to the one in Glastonbury

Re: 5 guys
The burgers are excellent . And one more detail about the fries - they put the fry cup in a bag and start filling the bag up ! I like the little sign that tells you where the potatoes came from for the fries also .
