Churchwarden Pipes
I love the look of these things and everytime I see one I think that they would smoke awesome! But of course I have never smoked one so I don't know for sure!! But man they look great! So can someone tell me the benefits of a CW pipe? Is it best for certain baccy etc? Thanks!!

Re: Churchwarden Pipes
I don't know about it being suited to a certain baccy, as the bowl probably has more to do with that than the long stem. So some CWs may be better for one versus another.
But one benefit of the long stem is nice cool smoke, and it adds at least 10 points to your IQ while smoking I have a savinelli churchwarden that my brother got me for Christmas and I love it |

Re: Churchwarden Pipes
Good for smoking while reading a book, not so good for smoking while driving a car.

I haven't smoked one yet, but I have been looking at them myself. Let us know what you think about them if you grab ahold of one!

Click on "Products" and scroll down to the bottom of the page. I have one, not yet smoked out of. The churchwarden I made is a nice cool and sweet smoker. Really enjoyable to use, but not really comfortable to hold between the teeth. |

Thanks for the offer! I am in Canada though so it could be problematic.

Re: Churchwarden Pipes
Used to have a Bjarne churchwarden. Had to get rid of it when I gave up the hobby though. It was a great pipe. Might look into getting another here soon-I have since moved away from home and the 'rules' there and started back with the hobby.
