Caldwell Discussion
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So, I am learning more about some of the brands that have come out and which I haven't gone after to try. One of those lines is the Caldwell line. I know it is a bit on the steeper side of the price range than I would normally enjoy, so I am not going to put out the coin that I might to try some other stuff... that leave me blind! So, what are your favorite Caldwell lines? I have tried a couple which I enjoyed, and have a couple more to try. I know there are a few more lines out there, some of them which appear (at first glance) to be overpriced. SO, those of you who have tried more of them, I am curious your thoughts on how they compare. Which lines are your favorite? Are there some you would avoid? Some that are head and shoulders better than others? I have tried the following: Long Live the King The King is Dead I have the following to try: Eastern Standard (today's smoke) Eastern Standard Signature Midnight Express I know of the following: Anastasia [too expensive] Blind Man's Bluff (Connecticut, Habano, Maduro) Eastern Standard Sun Grown Long Live the King (Maduro, and "by AJF") Lost and Found Savages The King is Dead by AJF The Last Tsar [too expensive] Thanks for playing. Peace of the Lord be with you.

Re: Caldwell Discussion
Todd, you know I am a big fan of several of Caldwell's cigars.
Right now I'd say my order of preference of the ones I remember trying would be: Long Live the King The King is Dead Eastern Standard Corretto Young Savages Eastern Standard Signature The T Midnight Express I am far from super knowledgeable about NCs at this point, but I do know what I like. The Long Live the King Heaters are like smoking cashews and other savory nuts (phrasing). Sign up for Small Batch Cigar's e-mails. They have different specials almost every day, often putting entire lines at 30% off. I have bought most of my Caldwell cigars from CigarBid, but have picked up a few from Small Batch when the specials have been good.

Re: Caldwell Discussion
Had my first The King is Dead Diamond Girl and LLtK Mad MF and I am very impressed. I like the Diamond Girl a little better but both are fantastic and I don't say that about Dominican cigars as I typically prefer Cuban & Nica baccy.
