AVO Tesoro Limited Edition '08
I believe this is the first AVO cigar I've ever smoked. I've heard some people sing the praises of AVO and others say they're overrated. I decided to see for myself.
A nice looking cigar. Nice firm cap, easy cut, good draw. First few draws...strong woodsy flavor, lots of smoke volume. A bit of a tangy flavor on the finish. About 1" in...the woodsy flavor remains, but the flavor has dropped a notch. About 2" in...much the same. A bit of a crooked burn. Pretty bland so far. About halfway...this cigar tastes like warm air. It has lost almost all flavor. The aroma is nice, but that's it. Just a hint of a woodsy flavor on the finish. I pitched this airball just past the halfway point. Final thoughts...wow. I won't be going out of my way to buy any more AVOs soon.

I'm sure I've had one or two AVOs before, but I really don't remember them . . . so I guess Mark's review is dead-on.

The AVO Domaine and Heritage are quite tasty and worth a try, IMNSHO. I've always been a bit disappointed in all the others I've tried, though.

AVO Nic Syncro is great. Also been enjoying the LE 2005 and LE 2015 of late. I thoroughly enjoy AVO smokes. The prices for them are a different story. Way too pricey.
