Default Lowering RH

Hey guys,
I've had my beads/humidor set up for about 6 months now. Held rh level perfectly until recently. I charged my beads and I think I may have charged them too much as my 65% tube is now keeping the thing around 80%!

Not good, but it has been consistent at this level. I've salt tested, but I'm trying it again.

Any ideas on how to get that RH down? Or how to dry out the beads? I think I remember something about putting them in the fridge?

Take your beads out and spread them into a baking sheet. Make sure it's a somewhat deep pan too. Take a hair dryer and slowly fan it back and forth across the beads on low heat. Don't get the dryer too close or else you'll just send the beads flying everywhere, hence the deeper pan. It takes a few minutes but the beads will all eventually turn white and dry out.

I overcharged my beads the first time I charged them too, no biggie really. Hope that helped.

Dude, were your beads in one of the tubes? Does the end just screw off?

No, I have the loose pound of beads. I imagine the end of the tubes should come off relatively easily.
