Default Where to find:"It's A Boy"cigars

I need some help finding "It's A Boy" cigars that are nice smokes. The wife and I are going to be grandparents in april.
Most of these are going to people who will actually smoke them and I just wanted to get a nice quality stick. Haven't found much so far but I always get great advice here. Any ideas? Thanks

I would just buy some bandless cigars and make my own custom "It's a Boy" band. That way you know the quality of the cigar.

It's really pricey but Davidoff carries the 2000 line tubo with the lettering "It's a Boy"

Most of the stuff you find pre-labeled probably isn't going to be the quality you are looking for. What I did for my twin girls was bought a box of what I wanted to hand out and a roll of thin pink ribbon that says "It's a Girl". I then tied the ribbon around each cigar at the base of the label and used the ribbon to tie a smalll card onto it that announced their names and birth date.

It looked classy as hell and was a cigar that I knew would get smoked and enjoyed. To the non-smokers I gave bubble gum cigars.

Mission accomplished.

They have Flor Fina 8-5-8 that you can get with "its a boy/girl" custom cellophane. I got these when my niece was born last year and they really are well done. It's also my understanding that Tampa Sweethearts will do similar custom cello on other cigars upon request.

I made up my own labels to put on the cigars I gave out. You can get Avery labels that run through your printer. You can put what you want on there.

I did something like the following on some labels when my boys were born.

It's a boy
Benjamin Taylor Franklin
January 42nd, 2041
Length 20.4"
Weight 7 lb 6oz

I handed out 8-5-8's for my daughter but didn't know they had printed labels at the time. They were a big hit.

good luck!

And Congratulations!

Make your own. Its' a Boy/Girl cigars usully are dog rockets and are over priced due to the tradition/novelty. Make your own bands and but them on cigars you know are good.

Davidoff Boy/Girl cigars are well worth the price. They're almost the same price as the regular 2000's and you're assured a quality smoke.

Avoid at all cost the Fuente Boy/Girl boxes.....they're made to be cheap

I like the label your own idea for 8-5-8's though

Made my own for the birth of our son last month. I used Excel, created a cell the size of the band, and then used the WordArt built into Excel to make what I wanted. Copied and pasted so I had enough.......

Its hard to buy a RASS that says "It's A Boy"

Another option... http://www.signaturestogies.com/

You can send you own - $2 a stick engraved and a $35 setup fee...

I think the Fuente "It's a Boy/Girl" cigars are just Brevas or Brevas Deluxe, so they're very average, everyday smokes and not terribly special. As said, the 8-5-8's or Davidoffs sound the best, but I would factor in how much the recipients would appreciate them or not. No real point in treating them to a Davidoff if they couldn't tell the difference between this and a Hav-a-tampa. c

Start a NEW tradition and not have a band at all and just say it's a boy, not like they dont already now, right.
