Looks like we have an interesting week 15 shaping up here...

Scott (Sofaman) is the only team to clinch a playoff spot so far, the other three spots are up in the air with four teams fighting for them. TJarv is in the drivers seat at 10-4, but if he looses and Me, Shilala, and Travis win he could still be out in the cold. The three of us are tied at 9-5 so the scenarios become more convoluted from here. A loss probably means you're out or if we all win it comes down to points. Enjoy week 15 and good luck to all!

Update:
I have still done nothing more with the pass. Although, I have thought about doing something with the pass on numerous occasions, and that makes me feel better about not doing anything more with the pass.

Default Re: Fourth Annual Fantasy Football for Stakes and the Troops

Okay, I got time to do the pass thing.
My takes:
3 Sharks
Casa Fuente
Monte Open

My puts:
07 Don Carlos
02ish Oliva X by EOBrands
Padron SI-15 Maduro
Padron SI-15 Natural
Air Bender
08 Anejo 70? (Can't think of the number right now)
00 Punch RS11 (Best cc EVAR!!!)
San Cristobal El Principe? (Another brain block)

I'm not in love with anything I took, so if there's any problem, just let me know.
I don't know the value on the casa, my thinking was an SI or the Oliva X would cover it. Or bind the SI-15's as a pair?
I took the three sharks cause I like them and I'm out. I don't need to take 3.
So just give me your thoughts and I'll do whatever.

Scott, I think the Padrons costs together would cover (pretty close) the cost of the Casa Fuente depending on where it was acquired.

Not sure how much the Oliva X is, actually haven't even heard of one...so that's awesome to add to the pass! And I just love the Punch RS11!

You can send the pass off to me. I will take inventory, and shoot a PM out to the members to see if everyone is in on another round.

Alright Gents...its time for some Fantasy Football Playoffs!!!! and Time to make some wagers!

Going for the championship we have two semi-final matches:

Scott Sofaman against Tony TJarv

Matt Ninja for Hire against Travis TDsandBeer

Best of luck to all you "good" teams

Also, like last year, we are doing a consolation match again. This will be done just through the thread because Yahoo! won't allow me to do it on the site. So, I am going to run it the way we did last year to be fair to all.

So...this week, all 6 teams (ranked 5th through 10th) will have a shot at moving to the championship consolation bracket. The TOP 3 TEAMS, in terms of points scored for will move on to next weeks championship game.

Then, in the championship, the top point scorer will be the winner. So pay attention to your line-ups it still counts!

Prizes:
1st place 30 sticks from the entries
2nd place 20 sticks from the entries
3rd place 10 sticks from the entries
Champion of the consolation bracket, 10-15 sticks.

Before the season started Scott asked me to weed through the pass and pull sticks that I thought weren't "up to par" with the premium standards of our pass. These sticks are being put into the consolation winnings. These are still good sticks, but they aren't the ones that scream "pick me pick me" when you open the pass, and it helps weed out some of the bulk For example, I pulled an Alec Bradley Sun Grown and a Oliva V maduro (because we had 4 in the pass already)...just a couple examples.
