The entire family will be descending on our house for Thanksgiving. I have to imagine the girls are cooking for at least 30.
I'll be watching football and eating till I'm sick, at least a couple times.

Headin literally around the block to a close family friends house. Gonna light up an Anejo Shark, Opus X, or something rare/HTF. Gotta dig around in the humi because I'm known to hide some of the gems in the back to prevent temptation

T-52, hands-down.

My wife and I are hosting a couple of Airman from Keesler AFB for dinner at our place. These are guys that aren't too far out of basic training, are at Keesler for technical training school, and don't have the ability to go home for the holiday. We'll be picking them up tomorrow morning, feeding 'em all day, and returning them to base in the evening. I don't know if I'll get time for a smoke, but if so it'll be a T-52 or an Opus X.

12lb turkey this year. Just 5 people eating. I cut off the thighs and butterflied the breast to cook everything faster and get better browning on legs. Removed the wings and used to cook broth with giblets. Mixed some baking powder into dry rub to crisp skin. which was applied yesterday along with compound butter under the skin.

Should I open a '55 Grahams or '63 Dow for an after dinner port? Will need to get in the decanter soon...

Happy Thanksgiving brothers! We are heading over to some family friends to enjoy a wonderful feast. Enjoy the kids, watch football, and create some memories.

For me it will be non other than a LP No.9. Paired up with some craft beer of some sort....

No cigar for me this year, I've got to work, but at least I had time to get to the in-laws for some deep fried turkey with all the fixings! Hope everybody has a great holiday.
