Default Anejo review

I promised someone an Anejo review a week back. Finally got around to smoking it. Fuente knew what he was doing when he came up with this. This cigar is way to rare to keep on hand so smoke em if you got em. I have smoked very few OpusX and the Anejo blow them out of the water. A wonderfully robust flavour profile, this is what you want all of your cigars to taste like. Construction on this 46 was damn near flawless and it burnt straight like a razor. I had a nice glass of Montecristo rum with it and they complimented each othr nicely. There was no unsightly Ron Jeremy-like veins to be found anywhere. Large plumes of smoke (I am a big fan of smoke) and a draw that Escher would have been proud of. I think the worst part about this whole thing is that I have a new favourite cigar, and a cheap and rare one at that.

I am so screwed

Thanks,
matt

Seems like they can be had around here for not much more than msrp at times. With the current economy, they seem to stay for sale longer than they used to.

Disagree with the OP in that these get really nice and complex with a couple years on 'em. Sharks in particular really drop the overwhelming fruit/tannin punch-in-the-mouth, becoming a bit more creamy and rich but still packing a little pepper pop.

Nice review... I agree with you spot on. The anejos 46 is just pimp! I honestly would get a bit sad if I was ever low on them...
