Hell, everybody wants to be here in the winter but when they're here in August-September they're crying about how hot and humid it is and saying no way I could live in this.

IMO there isn't much difference when you first walk outside. I walked outside to start my car this morning and was like, "this isn't that bad." Then in about 3 minutes I started shivering and two minutes later my face was hurting. The difference is at 0 degrees it takes about 30 minutes for the aforementioned symptoms to sink in but at -15 it takes about 5 minutes. At 0 I'd consider playing pond hockey Well maybe not

Drove into work this morning with it reading -7. Gotta love it. It's to cold to even cry about it. My eyes would freeze shut.

When I lived in Moscow in the 1960s as a kid we were not allowed to go on our terrace in the winter because it was so cold the poorly constructed thing might actually break off. We also stayed inside on some days because it was so cold that your tears would, in fact, freeze. My father says it was about 40 below straight up at the worst.

Ah, you're right. I couldn't find MMSD in the school cancellation list earlier.
