Counter Culture Jagong Sumatra
I saw "Counter Culture" mentioned a few times on the forum and decided to give one of their coffees a shot.
I just finished french pressing a cup of the Jagong Sumatra (Organic) and am really enjoying it. There is a nutty, slightly woody taste at the center—sometimes slightly charry—with a little sweetness (what reminds me of some "cherry notes" in cigars) at the back. It's a nice cup. I should probably look into the FP threads here to be a little more precise about my measurements to see how that might change up the flavour. Anyone have suggestions about particular CCulture roasts?
