Feeling at Home
|
The Past Three Years
Well my wife and I met three years ago and we've dealt with crisis after crisis, part time low paying jobs, less than paycheck to paycheck living while she was a full time student, illnesses with the teen daughters, and a myriad of other struggles!
However that all changed last week! I had been working full time and holding down a part time job at Walmart for th past seven months while my newly graduated wife delved into a very tough job market last December. Last Tuesday one of the managers and I got into a discussion over trash, literally and I tossed my badge on the ground and walked out. No one talks to me that way for 7.85 an hour. They shouldn't talk to anyone that way in fact! So we were down to one job and my family to support when my wife put in her resume at a local broadcasting company. They called her two hours later to interview the next day and hired her on the spot! This is her dream job! She's now the marketing and advertising manager! She has an office, a sales staff, and gets a great salary and excellent bonuses! This has basically doubled our income! She starts Monday and it feels that the lOng tunnel of hardships we've gone through the past three years has ended and we're on a great path now! Just wanted to share some good news with the Asylum and some great BOTLs! I'll be able to restock my humidor soon and not depend on my friend in town for the occasional stick! Believe me he's toP of the list to get a few premium sticks for to repay his kindness!
