Just a couple of the filler samples, and a CT leaf sample. Going to have to try and make my own press, don't have the cash for a mold right now... Hoping it will work until I can get my basic rolling down.

Have you tried rolling the complete cigar without the press? If so, how did it smoke?

I smoked one the the Dominican ones while hanging out with Drew yesterday... I actually really liked it a lot. I had one when he first started rolling them and found it to lack flavor, this one yesterday was really good though.

(and I'm not just saying it because he's local or because I know him... I'd be honest about that).

just by them smell of this shipment of Dominican fillers, I can tell this will be a tasty smoke.
This is how i get my filler, stacked- somewhat moist, which is why i have to let them sit and rest so long after rolling

And i just use a rough leaf for the binder. Thick leaves work better because they wont tear. but you could also use two thinner leaves.

and this is how i leave the first batch of maduros... for today
