Actually, my cousin Daniel and I beat that game in a single weekend of not sleeping.
We only found our real Challenge in the form of Contra. That game was really impossible without cheat codes. |

I used to rent it almost every weekend for a long period of time, but I completely sucked at it. AVGN has an awesome review of it.

I loved TMNT! That game was good but the next one was definitely better.

Anyone else notice that video games have gotten WAY easier since the NES days? I've got a PS3 and a 360 and play games all the way through fairly frequently on both and every time I go back and play original NES games I'm shocked at how difficult they are when I can remember beating them at the age of 8. |

Re: Did you ever play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES....?
My step-sister somehow inherited our NES from when we were kids. Since I had kids before she did, she gave it to me for them to play with. Included, Super Mario, SM3, and TMNT. LOL I HATE that game. I've figured out how to get past the dam level, and the one after it. Enter some weird building in level 4 and I gave up. My kids lost interest in TMNT too. They love SM1 and SM3.

Contra fans remember: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Select, Start
I tried this on the downloaded Contra on my sister's Wii. Couldn't get it to work. That game's impossible without 30 free lives.

Re: Did you ever play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES....?
Oh yeah, NES was maybe my fifth game system...original Pong, commodore 64, ATARI, SEGA, then Nintendo. Hated TMNT, still love me some RBI Baseball tho. That game rocks.

Re: Did you ever play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES....?
Definitely. 2, 3, and 4 were much better than the original.
