Rolesville Chicken
I have never seen this prepared outside of the little town I grew up in, so I thought I would share with yall....
Start with a mixture of 65% Kingsford, 35% American Royal Oak on the weber, Then add one large chicken, quartered and wings folded back. Salt and pepper sprinkled on the skin for seasoning... I'll add more to the photo essay in a couple of hours when the chicken is done....

Re: Rolesville Chicken
Quite right brother Gary,
Time lapse, about an hour in, 45 more minutes or so, and she's done...

Re: Rolesville Chicken
Get 'em done, tear them off the bone,
Simmer in a pot with 1/2 to 3/4 stick of butter, 1 cup or so of my homemade vinegar based BBQ sauce, continue to tear up with tongs while simmering and here you have it. Sprinkle in a little red pepper flakes to taste if you like... Mamma's favorite!
