Re: Quitting cigs... again...
I stopped smoking dec 18th of 09.
I had quit several times before with going back a month two months and even a year and a half later at one point. But this time was different. I did not have the uncontrollable urge to have a cigarette I need a cigarette didn't happen that often although it still does happen even 20 months later. But now it passes. And I did it for me, I made the decision to stop not work saying I can't smoke in the truck not my friends who quit and gave me **** and I didn't do it for my Family although they were a factor. but the decision was mine and I think after realizing that It made stopping allot easier.

Another month down, and still going strong!
My brother and I were installing a kitchen a couple weeks ago. He lit up a cigarette, and it actually stunk. Getting easier for sure!

Re: Quitting cigs... again...
I quit 3 years ago after smoking for over 20 years. There are still times when they smell good, not good enough for me to pick one up, but I'm not sure that will ever go away. Most of the time, I feel indifferent about them.
My wife still smokes and she asked me if smoking cigars makes me want a cigarette. I told her for me, it's a completely different experience. Good luck to you and stay strong bro! Posted via Mobile Device |
