Re: Motorcycle Thread..
Finally got around to rebuilding my Duc from my 2008 wad-a-thon at Sears Point late 2008. Thought it was all done save for the pegs I'm having made. Fired it up and it immediatly started gushing gas from the bottom of the tank. Apparently the quick release gas lines got nicked or got hard. No biggie, I'll just a couple news ones.
Ring ring, 'Hello Mr Ducati parts counter guy, I need new quick release gas line thingies." 'Sure, they are $60. Each.' "Click." Okay so I didn't really hang up but I did have a minor stroke. |

Re: Motorcycle Thread..
Went riding this past Saturday. Bike was really heavy in the turns and had to really fight it.... Finally realized I had picked up a nail in my rear tire somewhere along the way. Looks like it's time to buy a new back tire.

1600cc's of parallel twin power
This badboy will rock and roll... and it's for sale. Frickin' greedy a** Uncle Sam is making it necessary to part with it. We really could use the money but deep-down I hope it doesn't sell

Re: Motorcycle Thread..
I wish, it's just the 883. Figured that would be fine for my first street bike. And no, I'm a ranger I just rolled out to show my coworkers. But it's fun to show ppl the pic and say I was getting hassled by the law

Re: Motorcycle Thread..
And dude, I am not the riding gear police.
BUT. If you do nothing else, get those ****ing sneakers off your feet when you're riding. I had an 80 year old slam in to my bike last June, I'm still rehabbing from the accident, and if I hadn't had riding boots on I would have lost my foot. Just sayin' |
