Default 898 Cigars-Dominican-Anyone familiar with these?

I have a handful of 898 cigars made in the Dominican Republic. It appears they came out in 1991, originally as a Jamaican cigar.
I cannot find anything about them on the web. I cannot find anything about their affiliation with any manufacturer. All I can find is that they are mild cigars.
They go for around $4-$5 each and they got their name because of the placement of the cigars in the 8-9-8 positions.
Has anyone smoked these?

I believe they're made by GC in the Macanudo factory. I smoked one a while back and thought it was pretty decent.
