I nice prime rib cooked and seasoned simply with the traditional sides... red skins, corn, green beans, fresh baked bread...etc.

It's a hit every year.

Enjoy your meal Brother.

Thanksgiving is our big traditional meal. Christmas will be:
Shrimp
Ham
Smoked Brisket
Coleslaw
Potato salad
And a few other odd and ends lay out kinda buffet style so you can graze any time.

We're doing shredded pork tacos and assorted accessories that go well with it. No reason, other than that's what we had last year at Erin's parents down in Florida last year, and it was tasty (and it'll make us think of a warmer climate than where we're at!).

Christmas Eve will be a Salad, King crab legs and fresh bread.

Christmas Day is rib roast mashed potatos, veg and pie for desert

Day after Christmas is Family Christmas at my parents, Ham, Cranberry sause and pies are all I have to worry about.

The rest of the week is left overs. And the best part is I only cook for Christmas day.

Thanks for all the input.

Just finished shopping
Ended up with a 16lb standing rib roast
I also grabbed a Dozen 1lb lobster tails that I'll fill with some form of seafood stuffing
We nixed the fried turkey and are instead going with deep fried pork shoulder.
