Default Anyone in to motorcycles?

I really dig older jap motorcycles. My last purchase was a 1974 RD 250 and I spent last summer getting it back on the road. I had purchased it from a guy in Iowa that had frankinbiked it. He had installed a dirt bike suspension on it, so I found a donor bike, did a lot of cleaning and some painting and in a couple of months had it running again.

It needs a little work yet. I have to replace the seat cover and fix the dents in the gas tank.

And a pic of my 84 RZ350 for fun.

I had an SV but had to sell it to help with school. My pops had a Duc 900 for awhile and that thing was eye opening.

Here's the SV

I rode a RD250 for a couple of years when they were new. Too light for the power and tires, IMHO.
Seriously, if you plan to ride it much, get rid of the under-the-pipe footpeg bracket. It hits the ground when you corner the bike hard and levers up the back tire.

I'm going to get my self an SV soon, I just keep pushing it off being a cheap skate.

I love riding, this summer I had a 06 GSXR 750 to borrow and had a blast while it wasn't my favorite bike.

I fully enjoy riding and am the owner of a 84 honda magna 750cc (unsure how long i'll keep her)

My first bike was a restored '75 RD250. White tank with red and black stripes. Looked freaking awesome!
