Forgotten about the Band?

I was out smoking in the garage just now and I made a boo-boo. I was playing the PSP and I had the lights out while smoking. Was so into the game that I forgot to remove the band and I noticed a horrid smell and the cigar started to taste funny. I lit my lighter to see what was up and realized the band was burning.

Anybody else ever smoked a band before?

Didn't want to waste electricity, plus I like to look outside while I'm in the garage. Can't see what's outside w/ the lights on in the garage at night. I was playing the PSP and it had enough illumination to see what I was doing (for the most part).

I have singed the edge of the band, but never smoked one.

I did a little more than singed it. I didn't smoke the whole band, but I burned enough to notice a nice change in flavor.

I guess when you chop a smoke in half, it get to the band faster.

Ratters did this once with a Gurhka. He said he wondered why it turned harsh...but I think it was probably the best part of the smoke!

I always remove the band once the burn gets close. And i only smoke cigars to relax, I can't see myself playing videogames while smoking.
