What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
Having tried just about every Davidoff NC on the market today and having my own personal favorites I was curious to hear what you guys thought were your most memorable experiences smoking a Davidoff.
The Special R and Ani #3 have always been my two standby sticks. Recently I have been obsessed with the 2008 LE Robusto Extra (i'm smoking one at the moment) and without question the Double R always hits the mark. Personally, I think any Davidoff is best if smoked on a clean pallete and they are great before smoking a medium-full bodied Cuban. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
Never had a Davidoff I didn't like. I had one for my New Year's eve cigar. Robusto Intenso special edition from 2005. My favorite! My first cigar was in Mexico, then a couple of months later I was in Las Vegas and walked into a Davidoff store-that was the beginning of the end for me.

having had very few davidoffs but really having enjoyed the few I've had. I like the gran cru line with especially with a few years on it. But those diademas sure look tasty.

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
I haven't smoked a Davidoff in a LONG time. When I first starting smoking cigars in college the 4000 was one of my favorite cigars. I have a handfull of Davidoffs sitting in my humi but when I bring them out they never end up getting smoked because there's always something I want to try more.

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
It has happened, a few times over the years, but I must say that I am rarely disappointed with any Davidoff Cigar. That being said, my all time favs are the 2000 (PC) for a short smoke, and the Anni No. 3 Tubo (Toro) for a longer, relaxing smoke!

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
I have had less than a handfull and each one was fantastic.
A Special R was given to me last year when I was in Germany. It was out of this world. I have also had a few Millennium Blend cigars which I felt were very fine cigars. I am far from being an expert on Davidoff, but the ones I have smoked, couldn't have been much better. Take care. Ken |

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
Tried the first one on the suggestion of a tobacconist at a B+M and it was great, now if only it didn't cost me $40 for 3 of them

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
I used to really like the Davis, but lately not so much. I was really dissapointed about the 2008 robusto extra, Eric told me they were gonna be full bodied but they were anything but!
I guess the Robusto Intensa release that came out a few years ago was the last one I really liked.

Re: What's Your Favorite Davidoff?
The best NC Davidoff that I have tried was a Double R from the very first release. This was a great cigar!
The second best was the Millennium Series that was released in '99/'00. A box of 20 cigars, three different sized Perfectos. These were very, very good cigars! |
