Default What Cigar You Must Try In 09?

What are the cigars that you really must try before 09 turns to 2010?

For me I really have to try a Tatuaje Black. I just gotta know if the hype is justified.

I'd also like to try a Fuente Sandshark.

I've got an Opus X in the humidor that will be sure to be smoked this year.

I had a Padron 64 earlier this past week which I reviewed and that was definitely one I would have to have tried this coming year. It will also be a regular once I can afford a box!

I've got a LONG list of singles to smoke that are currently calling my humi home. Most of them were on my '08 "to try" list.

My goal is to try a CC before 2010. Not sure if that's likely given the economy and our plans to vacation out of country is a bit tenuous.

This thread seems pretty dangerous with all those bombers loose...

But I'll play, and hope I can keep my limbs.

Cohiba lancero. To me that's the top dog of cigars being made, while i've never read a bad review, in fact everything I've heard it's a great stogie. I'm sure smokes out there are better, but it's the peak of cool in cigars. Not that I smoke to be cool. But in my mind that's the stick, people will be like... that's a quality cigar be it a smoking vet or someone who's never seen a stick before.

And to be fair, I like that size. lol.

Who's afraid of bombers?

I have an Opus X sitting the humidor that is waiting for the day I can say that I am working again - hopefully soon. I also have been hearing alot of things about Tatuaje's and will try to acquire at least a Black this year. I also will be looking to acquire a Padron or two this year.

Hmmmm... I really haven't thought about it in those terms... If it is something I MUST try then it has to be reasonably accessible. I would go with:

Party 898 - I can't believe I haven't had one yet as much as I like other Partagas vitolas.
