Default What is your 2009 Cigar Budget?

So with the economy in the crapper andpotential concern over guarding your pennies what do you think your cigar budget (just sticks not accessories) will be this year and do you really think you will stick to it.

About 10x what I can afford. And I will go over it by about 1000 percent.

That's about the gist of it! I keep telling myself: "No mas" but then another "super deal" comes along that I can't in my right mind pass up. Maybe I need to be in my wrong mind more!

I'm pretty sure whatever number I come up with, it'll get blown out of the water about the same time the third big sale of cc's is posted.
But, it's an investment, right? Can't do any worse than my 401K.

I don't really think out a budget....if something that I want comes along, I will buy it if I can afford it.....and won't if I can't.

Pretty much the same thing I do. If I have a little extra cash laying around, I'll go ahead and place an order.

Thats kinda how I roll as well, I dont have a hard fast number. And lucky these days I only buy boxes to replace boxes I just finished smoking, not a lot of free space in the Aristocrat.

I don't buy for the sake of buying. It has to be something I really want and if it's a good deal that makes it even better. Once I decide if I want it or not then I decide if I have the money.

Ditto. I never buy if I can't afford it right then and there.

I do the same, however, sometimes I spot something I don't want to pass up and buy it when I shouldn't have! Those are the purchases I try to be home to pick up and they disappear never to be seen by the wife!

I think this year I will probably spend as much or more than last year but I guarantee you it will be on a smaller number of sticks.
