Polar Bear Plunge - A Looney Tale
Those looneys in Wisconsin have a New Years Tradition, called the Polar Bear Plunge.
-This year the water was particularly cold ... note the icebergs. -Even the polar bear decided to take a hiatus. Some brave souls, however, braved the elements... Ahhh.... a refreshing and invigorating way to start the year! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ p.s. Even brought the celebratory cigar ... Honduran Sancho Panza ... I was shivering too hard to light it. |

My brother actually does this every year in Waupaca. He almost had me talked into it a couple of years ago, but luckily once I got to the lake, I came to my senses.

Re: Polar Bear Plunge - A Looney Tale
I'm pretty sure if I were to try something like that my entire body would curl up and they'd have to put me in an oven to get me out of the fetal position.
