I am running the large 60% puck. Anyone out there keeping the cigars around 60% ? pros or cons.

do you like the way they smoke at 60%?

if you do keep them there...if you don't move up/down till you find your sweet spot.

i keep mine around 65% +/- and i like the way they are smoking

If they burn good for you; if they taste good to you - it's exactly right! If you're curious, set up a plastic container as a temporary 'dor and try 65%. (Just for kicks!)

Not that I'm doing it as a norm per say, but my coolidors are running around 60-62% currently because of the furnace being run in the house. The only con I see is a faster burn, so I need to slow down my smoking. That's tough as I smoke pretty fast regularly. Pros, a lot less plugged cigars.

Exactly, people are over reacting on humidity levels. I know people who likes 60% and I know people who like 65%. It's whats good for you and your personal taste. Don't waste to much time on percentages, waste time on this smoke taste good with this spirit.

I run the 62% in both my humidors and haven't looked back. I used to have hit and miss burn issues when I ran them at 70 and I vary rarely get that anymore. They do seem to burn a little faster but I don't mind. Just gives me an excuse to go grab another.

as always YMMV I keep mine between 65 and 67% and enjoy the way they smoke. I have noticed during the winter I have to add some help to my system to keep that level and usually stay at the bottom of that range. Summer I tend to the upper level of that range.
