New 60" TV, calibration suggestions?
Finally upgraded from my 42" tv to a 60". It is model sharp lc-60sq15u.
http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-LC-60SQ1...arp+lc-60sq15u I have Comcast now but will be switching over to Directv on Friday because I was told they offer 1080p and Comcast does not. Picture looks pretty good, not as beautiful as my 42" but I think it could be a lot better if I tweak it to the right settings. Does anyone have this tv or a place to find a settings guide?

avsforum.com is your friend, my brother.
If you can't find the answer there, there isn't one. Seriously, those guys are geniuses. I bet you'll have your answer in five seconds.

There is a nice little device out there that you can use to calibrate your TV. I cant remember the name but it is $350 or less.(I will edit the post as soon as it comes to me) It's well worth the investment.
If you go the AVS route, read up on everything, there is a lot of good information but also a ton of bad information. |
