Bristol Rhythm and Roots 2013 - HOLY ****
Got back last night from the Bristol Rhythm and Roots festival and I have to say that it was awesome.
6th year in a row i have been to it and it just keeps getting better. Took Luke this year (what will be his first of many to come) and wore his butt out. He slept 12 hours Saturday night. My 13 year old nephew's band Mis'ry Creek played 3 shows over the course of the week. Luke jammin out to Mis'ry Creek Luke and K enjoying The Folk Soul Revival The New Familiars tribute to Levon Helm

and the MAJOR HIGHLIGHT of the weekend.
Colin Hay played 2 sets at the festival. For those of you that don't know who he is, he is the lead singer of Men at Work. One of my fav's of all time and the very first tape I bought was their album Cargo. So, to see him was a dream come true. Backstage and the ultimate - Got a picture with him.

Very cool Rob. Congrats on meeting Colin Hay. Who can it be now? Damn, Luke is growing like a weed. What are you feeding that boy?
