Good soft flame lighter?
So I've really been enjoying getting away from the torch flame lighter and using good cigar matches to light my smokes lately. Much easier to not scorch the wrapper.
That being said, some of the B&Ms I frequent don't have decent cigar matches, so I'm in the market for a good soft flame lighter. Anyone have a recommendation? |

I have the Xikar EXII, really like it when I get the chance to smoke inside.

I like to order cigars from JR and pick up one of these from time to time to share with my brethren.
They usually work great. You buy a box of cigars you likely want anyway, and you get a nice lighter. http://www.jrcigars.com/jr/index.cfm...-Lighter-.html |

I've had my IM Corona Cigar lighter for a while and it works great. Double soft flame so coverage over the whole end of the cigar is excellent. Lifetime warranty too. Heck, this inspires me to go try it out again on a cigar. : )

The Bic lighter burns butane, the same stuff that is in your torch lighter. Now, Zippo lighters on the other hand, do use a naptha based liquid fuel that can taint the cigars. How much depends on the formulation of the brand of fuel that you are using, some brands burn cleaner than others. Zippo brand used to burn quite clean, Ronsonol, on the other hand, did not. |

Re: Good soft flame lighter?
Xikar pipeline is the one I use. Great lighter so far. Works for my pipe and most cigars.
