Favorite IPad Apps?
We finally moved into the 20th century and got a family IPad. We have a four-year-old and a one-year-old. Some of our favorite apps so far are Bubblepop, candy count, talking Ginger, Bejewled and Iheartradio. We have the appshopper. That's pretty cool. In the pursuit of suggestions:
what are some of your favorite apps? Free is better...see second sentence. Sorry if this has been posted before, but I sign on and peruse sporadically. See second sentance...

Re: Favorite IPad Apps?
Wierd that no one responded to this... anyway here are mine:
- Taptalk for forum browsing - Google Earth runs great on the iPad 2 and 3 -Ballys makes slot machine and video poker simulators that are a lot of fun and dont suck money out of your wallet like the casino machines do - Across Ages is a fun 80s type RPG game - I get 95% of my magazines via the Newsstand now. Its one of the best features of the iPad, it has saved me a ton of paper and its much easier to read in bed. - Beat Sneak Bandit is a cool game with innovative controls that involve only tapping on the screen - The Redfin real estate app is awesome provided it covers the areas in which you are looking to buy or sell

Crackle is good for movies and tv shows, it's free (by Sony) and there are a ton of movies and TV Series to watch.
Intellicast HD weather app kicks butt I seem to recall this being free and a really great weather app. I'll second google earth and I hate google, but it's a cool app to play with, learn geography, kill time. Zoom in on people's houses, Area 51, stuff like that. Most of my apps are paid and for design / UI design work, a lot of drawing apps too. Be sure to check Electronic Arts out, they are always having .99 cent sales on their games, talking 10-15 dollar games for .99 cents, they do it all the time. |

I have a Google Nexus 10 tablet but I do use an Iphone 4. My favorite app for the phone is the Noaa radar HD app. Finally an app that is nearly real time with updates and is very detailed. It also has no ads. I hate ads. This was my first purchased app at 2.99 and I believe it was well worth the price.

At first, it was so much fun messing with wife changing channels on her and driving her nuts trying to figure it out. A must have game app is: 4 pics 1 word. ADDICTIVE!
