Default Cigar Aficionado Tries to Fool Us!!

Just something silly really, but I never noticed it before until today!! In the issue with Kevin Costner on the cover, he is smoking an unbanded torp, it is lit, but not clipped, or so it seems. Funny how something catches your eye after so long!

I think he took advantage of a very innovative technique using a punch on the side of the head that we can't see. You know, like how some of the guys punch a chisel head.

That's the ticket… like a P-Lip on a Peterson pipe.

TripleF (Scott) and I talked about that when it came out. We thought it was crazy. It certainly made us question the authenticity of him being a cigar smoker. Not a huge Costner fan but really enjoyed Open Range with him and Robert Duval.

I think the mag is what it is, an upper income lifestyle mag as evidence from the types of numerous ads they run. There are others that are far better for just cigar info obviously.
