I decided to surprise Larry and ride over to the station on Saturday...it was windy, but I did it. It was an 11mile ride each direction. After I got there, whew my heart was in my throat, but I did it. I will make it out to the big roads soon enough! T-bone you would be proud!

Nice, I tried to get Janice to ride a few years ago when I had an extra motorcycle. She seemed to not get over being scared though and after a short time I told her she could just ride with me cause i didn't want her to get hurt. It's awesome that you are able to ride though. |

It gets easier with time. The first time I rode on the highway I thought I was going to get blown off the back.

Is that not all that matters??? Actually, she just showed up ridding the bike. She has only been on the road like 3 times prior to this. I am proud of her ridding skills.

Thanks Guys...met an Army Ranger and instructor at MacDill--he cringed a few times after I told him about my ride, but his wife in in my shoes exactly...she is a brand new rider, he has been riding forever, she refuses to ride with him since he is an instructor as well, but is ready to venture out--he says Larry and him will go have a cigar and worry and we can go ride around the base! LOL, I said SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT PLAN!!! He shook his head and walked away--totally defeated!...GIRL RIDER!
