Default Time for my special eggnog!

Love this time of year, I get to break out my world famous eggnog recipe!

Finally getting around to trying this. I'm a HUUUGE Maker's fan (try the Maker's 46 if you haven't, it's amazing) along with Woodford of course

Ok, here's the recipe:

Take large highball or tumbler glass.
Place three ice cubes in the glass.
Pour copious amounts of bourbon in the glass.
Enjoy.

I think I got it now. It was the delayed fuse that got me.

Pretty much the gold standard to which I compare all other bourbon to.

I bought some Devils Cut to give it a try. Didn't feel like driving 45-55 minutes to get something better. Locally there isn't TOO much of a selection and usually the prices are jacked.

That said, Devils Cut is not bad for $25 a bottle. Probably cheaper in the city.

Supposed to be in a glass
