A little bragging from a proud dad

Just got a call from my oldest son who's going through the college admissions process. He was just informed that he has been awarded the Navy's ROTC scholarship, a four-year, full tuition and fees scholarship.

I probably should wait to post until I have all the details (like which school the scholarship is for), but I can't contain my excitement for him.

His ultimate goal is to earn an appointment to the Naval Academy, but this is a tremendous fall-back opportunity for him if he doesn't get into Annapolis.
