Why is it that when you tell a man there are 400 billion stars he will believe you, but when you tell him there's wet paint he has to touch it?

That a good question. It reminds me one time my wife and I and some friends went to dinner at a fondue restaurant. There is a pot of hot oil in the middle of the table . Our waiter comes to the table tells us about how our meal would be served. After he finished talking about dinner he said don't touch the pot It's hot. I guess my buddy didn't believe him. The first thing he did was touch the pot . The rest of the night he had his fingers in his ice water.We still laugh about that when we get together.
