Hydrating RH Beads in 2 Puck 100's
Okay.....I'm suppose to hydrate the beads so that 60-70% of the beads are hydrated. Exactly, how do I do that? Do I spray distilled water over 60-70% of the surface of the beads in the puck and not let the spray hit the 30-40%of the remaining beads? Just want to do it right. Needless to say, I'm a "newbie". Thanks in advance in any suggestions.

I use a couple of plastic butter dish tops.....wet a little over half the surface and check in a couple of days. I'm using Heartfelt beads

dont get too hung up on perfection here... thats a rough estimate. you dont want to hydrate ALL the beads so that they are able to absorb humidity as well as release it.
the longer youre in the hobby, the less hung-up youll be on percentages

I just filled a spray bottle with distilled water. Took the beads into small tupperware containers, 1 pound per container. Sprayed the beads till 60-70% ISH of them were clear. It's all relative IMO, I see 62-65 RH on 65 RH beads. That's perfectly fine for me.
