Anyone have any experience with this?

Re: Germain's Brown Flake?
I have had this, although a while back. Germain's does excellent things with pipe tobacco. I don't know about it being anything like Stonehaven whatsoever. It is an English Virginia Flake, so it is a bit darker and less bright than say a McClelland Virginia Flake. It also will give a rather heady nic hit.
If this interests you, go for it. But my thought is that it isn't anything like Stonehaven. Get some because it is excellent.

Re: Germain's Brown Flake?
I am going to try it, so many other tobaccos that have been recommended to me (Stonehaven, Penzance, Full Virgina Flake, 1792) all seem to be perpetually all out of stock so this wins by default.

I've heard people compare this blend to SG's Best Brown but never Stonehaven.

I think that is where my tastes for this are at. I guess I have smoked too many strong cigars to enjoy a light and airy bowl with the pipe.
