El Rico Habano
Anyone a fan of these strong cigars?

Hell yeah! I have a nearly empty box of Petit Corona's. They've got to be close to 8 years old. Which reminds me, I haven't had one in a long time. Off to the cabinet.

Re: El Rico Habano
You think they are strong, Cliff? Since they changed the original blend years ago, I havn't found them to be so.
I miss the old ones.

Re: El Rico Habano
The two or three I've smoked have been very strong. Much stronger than the JdN Antano. Greg, if you know of a stronger stick than this, I'd love to hear about it. I love strong sticks.

Re: El Rico Habano
The old ones were definitely the strongest of their time. Haven't had one in quite a while. They were a great stick though.

Re: El Rico Habano
I smoked one of the Petit Habanos last night. It's definitely lost strength over the years, but the time has rounded out the flavors a lot.

Re: El Rico Habano
One of the best cigars out there.... over time, they mellow out and the flavors are fantastic. PM me for the site that I found to be the cheapest for the El Rico...

Re: El Rico Habano
The old ones were very good and quite powerful. They aged gracefully, losing the edge but remaining quite full-bodied. Haven't tried one of newer ones.
