Default My shipment from CI came in!

MAN 2 huge boxes. The El diablo 300 count humidor, looking at it 200-225 is a more "fair" guess. Also a box of 5 Vegas Gold Robustos, 6 pack La Herencia Cubana sampler and the 12 sampler 6X64 5 vegas gold/classics. I got a humi-care jar as well. I was so excited to get off work then when I get home the only thing wrong was the crappy hygrometer was broken, well the glass was cracked, not a biggie I'm going digital in a few days anyways. Of course I don't have distilled water so I'll have to pick some up tomorrow. So I guess all these cigars get a nice freeze before I get the humidor set up and I should be smoking cigars out of my own humidor in 7-10 days. Of course I was a bit too happy and cut myself on my brand new ZT-302 knife moving too quickly, which I NEVER do. Oh well.

Pics tomorrow afternoon.

I wouldn't deal with a broken product. I would call them and ask what they plan to do about it. I know you are excited about your product, but a crack could mean the seal is broken and you will just leak humidity.

[s]The hygrometer reads humidity, and there is a crack in it right? Well whats to say the humidity doesn't leak out thru the hygrometer?[/s]

Maybe it wont, who knows, but I would still call them and ask them what they plan to do about it. You pay good money for a humidor, it better be perfect.

But maybe that is just me.

Edit... nevermind, I just looked the humidor online. the hygrometer is on the inside apparently. Odd placement, but whatever.

I suppose its up to you whether to call about it tho.

Ahhh. A breathe of fresh air. Pics!

That humi looks beautiful. I'd be happier if the humi actualy had drawers and not just look like it but it's beautiful none the less! Kills what I started with!

Best of luck with it!
