Looking to rearrange my media system setup; Yamaha NeoHD for sale.
I won this on eBay from the editor of OhGizmo! who reviewed it on July 24th of last year (review is located here: http://www.ohgizmo.com/2009/07/24/oh...-giveaway-too/). The set-up at the very top of the page is what is included.
I purchased this for $475 shipped and set it aside, planning to set it up once I had rearranged my room to suit it. However, a few necessities and small desires popped up first:
I realize a lot of you watch a lot of films, or have large media libraries that you enjoy in addition to or alongside your tobaccos or other hobbies. That's the main reason I thought perhaps this was a decent spot to find a potential buyer; you would get something you could enjoy and I would be able to clear some space in my home as well as pad out my budget a little. I'm willing to negotiate the price of this unit (shipping weight is 47 pounds roughly) as I'd like to see it go to good use; however, I don't want to take a huge loss on it due to its mint condition. Please PM if interested, and thank you in advance for that interest and your consideration. ------ I also have a question regarding a new media setup, which I don't have at the moment. My laptop and my Sharp Aquos 32" HDTV are less than ten feet apart at the moment. What is a good media center that will allow me to view items from my hard drive, or stream them? If necessary, I can move items to an external 1TB drive. I am looking for something that plays the DivX/Xvid formats as well as AVIs, ISOs, etc. and the same for music; the general standard formats. I would also like to view Netflix streaming videos, or preferably if anyone can help me, download them as well to ensure playability without buffering/stops and starts due to my ISP's connections. Currently I am viewing the CiragoTV mini USB media center, or the Roku HD. The Cirago is cheaper, but I don't know if it allows for Netflix, which the Roku does. Worst comes to worst, I'll just download the films elsewhere and move them to my HD, or rent the DVDs. |

I just want to add that $475 shipped is really as low as I can go; this thing retails for $700 new on Amazon, and that's with free shipping. I will also gladly provide a tracking number and insurance to the buyer. |

Bump bump this baby needs to go.
I'll even throw in an HDMI cable...It's not much, but high-def is high-def, and they're nice to have. Help a brother out before college starts up? I'll love you forever more than a Gurkha loves a Cremosa |
