Default Received my Palio today

And I want to go buy some cheap bundle cigars just to play with it. What an amazing cutter.

Been looking at these for a while. Considered trying out a "nicer" cutter like a Palio or Xikar. Been using a $10 stainless guillotine (no brand that I can see) for the past 2 years without problems. Just wanna see what all the hype is about...

I have a Xikar and have not been overly happy with the way it cuts, going to return it and see if maybe it is just a dud or something. I know they will stand behind it but a hassle when things don't work right and you have to mail them back. Just does not seem sharp enough, cuts are not smooth above 50 RG which is everything I smoke.

The Palio is indeed a fine cutter.

I purchased a Xikar Xi Cutter a while back to use for the every day stuff,
fits in pocket better and cuts a bigger RG cigar better.
I do use both though and think they each have advantages and disadvantages.
If sitting around the kitchen table and lighting a smaller RG cigar after a meal,
the Palio is what I grab

My Palio is the Esencia Edition. Now I have my favorite cutter with my favorite cigar's logo on it.

ya, a cutter isnt something that really needs to be upgraded... or at least thats everyone's opinion until they pick up a palio. i highly suggest anyone grab one if they dont have one, i LOVE mine, more than i thought i could love a cutter until i grabbed one

I've been using a Xikar for three years, and have loved it, but after using a friend's Palio I have decided it is time to jump on the wagon and buy the best.

Without a doubt my Palio's are the best investment I have made in cigar accessories. Congrats Travis!
