Is that one of those pipe blanks that you started with? That's an outstanding outcome for your first try! I suppose that before long we'll see pipes stamped "Troy H." on the shank! Way to go, my friend!!

Unfortunate thing is it smoke a little on the hot side....Walls are too thin I have 2 more briar ebauchon blocks left tha tI think I will leave a bit thicker. Thanks all!!! |

That is very nice for a first try. OK, that's a nice looking pipe for about any try. A briar plug added to the stem??? Sweet touch!
