Default Good Cheap Group Costumes???

I am going with a group of people out for halloween and we all want to go as a group theme... what would be a good idea that is inexpensive?

As you can tell by my avatar, a couple years ago we went as smurfs. and the year before that we went in bubble wrap spacesuits from "Dude wheres my car?". Last year we all went as flintstones characters.

What else would be clever and funny?

Help!

A few ideas:

1. Go as streakers. You wouldn't really be streaking, you'd be acting.
2. Go as drunks. Cost: cheap booze.
3. Go as The Verizon Network. Everyone keep their phones by their ears and follow some poor schlep around town.
4. Go as "Secret Service". Pick one person in your group to be the "VIP" and everyone else wear suits and sunglasses. Gang tackle some guy when he isn't expecting it and rush your "VIP" out the door.

Don't dress up. Maybe a few of you get some temporary tattoos or something, but that's it.

Then spend the entire night yelling, arguing, throwing sh!t at each other, crying, hugging and making up. Every now and then all huddle together and start whispering about the one person who didn't make it into the huddle. Then call for a "vote" and ostracize that person from the party.

When someone asks what you guys are there as, tell them "reality show contestants" and then challenge them to a fight.

I have always though this was good.

I am not posting the picture since some my find it offensive. Use caution.

This one would require that at least one of you smoke a cigar. I agree that it isn't appropriate for all occasions, but it's damned funny.

Yep, got a good laugh out of me too.

I still like my Verizon Wireless Network idea.

White T-shirts and blue or black jeans. Go as the "T-birds" from Grease. Leather jackets optional.

I originally wanted to do the tetris pieces but that will be too bulky.

I was thinking about getting a few people to wear shirts that said “global warming” … and then one person was going to dress up as Al Gore.

I'm going as a cigar smoking fisherman this year.

Actually, come to think of it, I pretty much dress like that every year

You could just dress in street clothes and go as the Chicago Cubs in October.
